This 1,200 sq. ft. custom-built ADU was designed for a homeowner in San Diego who wanted to create a comfortable, private space for family members to live. The homeowner already had approved plans and permits in place, and Carbon Remodeling was contracted to take on the full build.
Our team managed the entire construction process from the ground up — pouring the foundation, framing, roofing, and exterior finishing. The project features Cool Life exterior coating for energy efficiency and durability, and a GAF roofing system for long-term weather protection and a clean finish.

This project focused on transforming an outdated bathroom into a modern European-style walk-in shower with a clean, minimalist aesthetic.
The existing shower and finishes were fully removed to allow for a complete waterproof rebuild from the framing out.
Our team installed a curbless shower design with large-format tile, sleek fixtures, and integrated drainage for a seamless, open feel that maximizes both function and style.
